What is TEDx?
In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.Our event is called TEDxCongaree Vista, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxCongaree Vista event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Can your message be distilled into a powerful, shareable insight?All talks must comply with TED’s speaker content policies. Please review the guidelines at the following link to ensure your idea aligns with these standards. Any submissions that violate one or more of these policies will be removed at the discretion of the TEDxCongaree Vista Production Committee.
Speaker Selection Timeline
Application Deadline:
Submit your application by September 15th at 11:59 PM EDT.Interview Notifications:
We will review all written applications and notify selected candidates by September 22nd. Around 40 applicants will be invited to participate in virtual interviews with our curation panel.Interview Period:
Interviews will be conducted between September 23rd and October 10th.Final Speaker Selection:
Approximately 20 speakers will be selected and notified by October 15th.Speaker Development:
All selected speakers will receive individualized coaching, participate in curation workshops, and receive comprehensive training to prepare for their TEDx talk.
